KoRT Leadership Development Program (KLDP)

Mission:
To develop the leadership skills of potential and/or current officers of registered student organizations and educate student leaders on OSI regulations and policies. The KLDP main objective is to increase the effectiveness of leadership within student organizations in order to maintain and foster positive growth of RSOs. In addition, to serve as ambassadors of positive public relations and service to Knights of the RoundTable, including helping to coordinate KoRT events and programs.

Specific Roles of KLDP Ambassadors:

• Serve as ambassadors at KoRT events
• Attend KLDP meeting
• Help to coordinate KoRT events
• Engage in learning OSI rules and policies
• Promote KoRT events/programs/benefits to student organizations and throughout the UCF campus
• Provide feedback and work closely with the KoRT Executive Board
• Attend KLDP Training Day
• Attend 1 KLDP social/semester
• Attend 2 non-KoRT leadership events/semester
• Attend 1 KoRT event/month
• Attend 1 community service event/semester

• Network with KoRT officers, OSI agencies, UCF officials and staff, keynote speakers, and registered student organizations
• Learn about the many ways to get involved and make a difference in the UCF community

• Applications are due on November 16, 2007 by 5:00PM to the front desk of the Office of Student Involvement (SU208).
• A List of the students selected for the KLDP will be posted in OSI on November 26, 2007.
• The KLDP Welcome Event will be on November 30, 2007.
