Orientation Sign-Up Form
In addition to submitting the Update Form in the fall and spring semesters, each RSO must annually (based on the academic calendar) attend an orientation in order to gain registration with OSI. Orientations will address topics like publicity, event planning, fundraising, taxes, SGA funding, and more.
Organizations should send at least one current (as indicated on the Update Form), eligible (as indicated by the Golden Rule) officer, but are encouraged to send more. Since the content of orientation is similar from year to year, organizations should consider sending new officers or officers that have not attended in the past. If your organization receives credit for attending a session in the fall, it will not have to attend a spring orientation. However, groups that elect new officers in the spring and have received credit for attending an orientation in the fall are encouraged to send a newly elected officer to a session. Advisors are always encouraged to attend.
Organizations should attend an orientation as soon as possible, as groups are registered ONLY after OSI receives the completed hard copy of the Update Form AND a current, eligible officer attends orientation.
Regional/Rosen Campus organizations will have orientations on their respective campuses within the first few weeks of school, and should contact their respective Student Services/Student Life Director for more information.
Officers are strongly encouraged to sign up for orientation to ensure their ability to attend, as seating is limited by the fire capacity of the room. Those who do not sign up ahead of time are not guaranteed access to the orientation session.
Please complete the form below to register your Student Organization for a mandatory orientation session. Please complete the information individually for each attendee (do not put all names, positions, and e-mails in one field).
